About me

My adventures first started in 2007 when, as part of a graduation present, I went to the Seychelles for three months on a volunteer project with Global Vision International.  We did underwater surveys on coral reefs in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.  I got to watch nesting sea turtles, swim with whale sharks and scuba dive nearly every day.  It was an amazing experience and got me hooked on traveling.  Over the past few years I have continued traveling to places all of the world.

I've had some incredible experiences along the way.  I've taught English in Ecuador and climbed mountains in Peru and Bolivia, I've had ash from a volcano dumped on me in Alaska and I've been snorkeling with sharks in the Seychelles.  It has been a wonderful journey and this blog is an effort to keep track of it all.
